This week I started searching for the toys, their meaning, the way we use them, and the things they teach us.
Here is a brief of what I’ve found so far:
How have toys changed over time:
In the medieval ages, children had often been thought of as small adults, who were expected to work in order to produce the goods that the family needed to survive.
In the 19th century, educational purposes were prioritized.
In recent decades, toys are using for:
leisure time
To help mental and physical health
To learn things
A concept of an imaginary and idealized version of the world
Enhance and stimulate creativity
What do toys do?
Children play with toys to discover their identity, help with cognition, learn causes and effects, and explore relationships.
Adults play with toys to strengthen social bonds, have joyful moments, teach, and help in therapy.
And here is the main concept and idea for both VR and AR projects:
“We are in the sexual enlightenment era”
People are getting used to speaking about taboos without embarrassment.
People are getting familiar with sexual orientations.
Authorities are forced to accept these orientations.
